Ally Walton, Broomlee Lead Tutor

Qualifications: MA(Hons) Business; MLTUK Single Pitch Award; Summer Mountain Leader Trained; British Canoe Union: UKCC Level 2; Trail Cycle Leader Trained; Powerboat Level 2; GNAS.

Ally’s outdoor career started 6 years ago, the last 3 years have been working for SOEC. During her time working as an outdoor tutor Ally spent a year working in a disability centre down in Northumberland. This experience has given her the drive to make the outdoors it accessible for all.

Ally’s passion for the outdoors started when she attended a 3 week course down in the Lake District at the age of 18. This course emphasised what she wanted to do once her degree was completed.

During her free time Ally likes to mountain bike, the mountains and SCUBA Diving.
